"It is so rewarding when a student clearly understands a concept for the first time or brings home an "A" on a tough exam. I am continuously trying to find the right balance between helping, encouraging, and backing off to let kids do it themselves."

About Stephanie

Stephanie has been with Team Tutors for three years. She is currently a senior at USC, majoring in Psychology with a minor in Natural Sciences. Prior to working with Team Tutors, Stephanie tutored students in low-income school districts in East Los Angeles. Stephanie currently tutors middle and high school math and science for Team Tutors.

Next year, Stephanie will be moving to Colorado to work in a mental health facility, where she looks forward to helping people in a different way, and will be applying to graduate school in clinical psychology.
